Mac to Android clipboard
Copy on your Mac. It’s on your phone.
Copy text, a picture or a file on your Mac, press one shortcut, and it lands in your own Telegram group on your Android phone, or any device with Telegram, already sorted. No emailing yourself. No cables.
Just press ControlOptionV
Sound familiar?
Getting one thing from your Mac to your phone shouldn’t take three apps.
A link, an address, a photo, a PDF. You need it on your phone right now, so you…
-
Email it to yourself
Write a subject, send, wait, open the mail app, scroll past everything else.
-
To yourself, or to a friend who now wonders why you sent them a tracking number.
-
Drop it in a Drive folder
Upload, sync, find the folder on your phone, download it again.
Apple’s Universal Clipboard only works between Apple devices. If your phone is an Android, your Mac has no built-in way to hand it what you just copied. Copy2Phone is that way.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Does it work with iPhone, iPad or a tablet?
Yes. What you send arrives on any device with Telegram: an Android phone, an iPhone, an iPad or Android tablet, even another computer with Telegram Desktop. Apple’s Universal Clipboard only works between Apple devices, so Copy2Phone is made first for people with a Mac and an Android phone, but everything else works the same way.
Is there a Windows or Linux version?
No. The sending side is a Mac app only (macOS 15 or later). The receiving side can be anything that runs Telegram, including a Windows or Linux computer.
Do I need Telegram on my Mac?
No. Copy2Phone talks to Telegram by itself. You only need Telegram on your phone, to make your bot and your group once and to receive what you send.
Is my data stored anywhere?
What you send goes straight from your Mac to your own Telegram group, where it is kept like any other Telegram chat. It never passes through a server of ours. Your bot token stays in your Mac’s Keychain, and your settings and a list of your last 30 sends stay on your Mac. Our server only knows your Google account (name, email, picture), your trial or purchase, your Macs, and simple usage counts like “sent an image”, never the content.
What’s the file limit?
50 MB per file. That is Telegram’s limit for bots. Files arrive exactly as they were, with the same name and nothing recompressed. Folders can’t be sent yet.
What if ControlOptionV is taken?
Pick another shortcut in Settings → General: ControlOptionP or ControlOptionC. Copy2Phone tells you if another app already uses the one you chose.
Does it need special permissions?
No. Copy2Phone doesn’t ask for Accessibility access. The shortcut uses the standard macOS hotkey system. The only extra step is the first launch: macOS asks you to allow an app downloaded from the internet (see the setup guide). Keep Copy2Phone in your Applications folder (it offers to move itself there if you forget), because it needs to be there to update itself.
How do I uninstall?
Quit Copy2Phone and drag it from Applications to the Trash. For a full cleanup, open Settings → General → “Uninstall Copy2Phone…”. It signs you out, removes its two Keychain items (your bot token and your sign-in), its settings and send history, its caches and the open-at-login entry, then moves the app to the Trash. Your purchase stays with your Google account, so you can install again any time. Your Telegram bot and group stay in Telegram; delete them there if you want.
